WiFi

AS.NET is a family of ruggedised WiFi based products targetted at frequency license exempt NLOS IP backhaul and WiFi hotzone applications. AS.NET enables city wide WiFi deployments providing standard WiFi (IEEE802.11a/b/g) clients with seamless roaming between access points to form a metro WiFi hotzone.

Used in conjunction with AS.MAX (Airspan's WiMAX IEEE802.16-2004 product range), a robust mixed WiMAX and WiFi hotzone can be deployed to support city wide roaming for current and future generation of standardised portable wireless access devices (eg. Laptops, PDAs, smart phones, portable gaming devices, etc….). AS.NET backhaul product configurations allow full duplex and redundancy modes of operation as well as cost optimised all-outdoor solutions for regular point to point deployments or high capacity wireless IP connectivity to SME customers.
