| Overview |
AS7020
is a Windows PC communications utility that allows the status of an
AS4000/AS4020 Subscriber Terminal to be displayed on a PC screen.
It is intended to be used as a commissioning tool and may also be
used as an aid to troubleshooting.
AS7020 is designed for use on Windows NT, 95 & 2000 platforms.
It can be used with all Demand Assignment Subscriber Terminals when
used in demand assigned or fixed assigned mode. It connects to the
Subscriber Terminal using an Ethernet or a serial cable.
AS7020 is able to display the following data;
- ST channel code
- Down-link status
- Uplink status
- Down-link Signal Strength
- Down-link ‘soft error’ count
- Uplink Signal Strength
- Inventory Information
- Packet ST MAC address and routing tables
In addition to displaying the above data AS7020 is also able to
log this information to a file.
