| Overview |
The AS9500 Service Qualification System (SQS) is a web based tool
which can be used to determine whether service can be provided to
a particular location or address covered by an operators wireless
network.
AS9500 is a companion product to AS9020 Airplan and is used in conjunction
with Radio Planning activities. AS9500 is a Spatial database that
stores radio signal strength predictions, interference analysis, land
parcel information, addresses and building (clutter) information.
AS9500 has algorithms that can determine if coverage, at a particular
address is possible, taking signal strength, interference, service
type, and installation location into account.
AS9500 is a Web-Based system that is made available over the Internet.
The potential end user is able to enter their address and obtain an
immediate indication of service coverage to that location. The calendar
and scheduling feature enables an installation date to be arranged
and will automatically generate work instructions for the installation
team. The SQS Engineering View gives the installation team information
about best serving basestation sector and expected RF signal levels.
For use by an operators ST installation field force, by end-users
for pre-installation service qualification, or by an operators
marketing groups (Advertising / selling service availability)
